Forrest WW12607125G Woodworker I 12-Inch 60 Tooth 1-Inch Arbor 1/8-Inch Kerf Circular Saw Blade

Cheap Forrest WW12607125G Woodworker I 12-Inch 60 Tooth 1-Inch Arbor 1/8-Inch Kerf Circular Saw Blade Review

I've been seeing things about the Forrest Blade for many (!) years and finally gave in, bit the bullet ($$) and now have this 12" blade on my Dewalt
12" compound slider. This blade performs just as I expected it to. Slick cross cuts on hard wood, wonderful cuts on ply (birch) with minimal to no bottom side chipping. I got just a few weeks of work out of it so can't speak to longer term durability.
A wonderful tool for finish work.

Forrest has a great reputation with their wood saw blades. This blade (made for non-ferrous metals) is in every way an equal. The cut on extruded aluminum is so smooth that you can run your fingers over the cut without worrying about getting a metal sliver. We have not needed to use a file to clean up any of the cuts so far.

Maybe, someday, it will wear down enough to cut as poorly as other blades...

If you need to cut expensive veneered sheet goods with a hand circular saw, this is the blade to get. It's pricey, but it's the only one I've used that doesn't produce splintering or tear-out in the material.
