Cheap Accusquare M1050 Table Saw Rip Fence Review
I have an old sears table saw with a terrible fence. The Accusquare had a good reviews. I assumed that the shown gold anodized color is what I would get. Instead I got a black anodized finish which makes shop lighting even more crucial, anything black seems to suck the light out of the shop and make it harder to view the details- not too important. The fence is crude and simple and does a good job of staying square to the blade. Easy to adjust and slides nicely on the nylon bushings that ride along the Uni-strut tm channel on the front. This fence has to be slid to the ends to be lifted from the saw, unlike others that appear to be lifted off at any point? There is no fine adjustment or micrometer- so you tap the fence back and forth for fine adjustments. The rear guide really did not offer any benefit and I created a nylon bushing to ride across the table top at the rear instead. Non of these fences are inexpensive but I guess this will do the job, heavy duty and not pretty, but nothing to break either. Good through instructions guide you through the mounting procedure.
